The Role
We are seeking a Lead Digital Trading Manager to drive the digital growth of multiple fascias within our business. Reporting to the Group Head of Digital Trade, you will manage a team of Trading Managers and oversee the commercial performance of our online platforms. You will play a key role in defining and delivering a digital strategy that aligns with the business’s commercial objectives.
Your focus will be on managing digital sales, improving on-site experiences, and providing strategic recommendations to increase revenue. You’ll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in marketing, product development, and operations to ensure a seamless and optimised digital customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the digital sales performance across multiple fascias, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Define and implement a digital trading strategy in collaboration with the Group Head of Digital Trade.
Lead the trading calendar, ensuring promotions, campaigns, and key trading initiatives are executed effectively.
Analyse performance data to inform growth strategies and optimize digital KPIs such as conversion rates and user experience.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to align product and trading strategies with digital marketing efforts (SEO, PPC, Paid Social, etc.).
Contribute to the development roadmap by working with CRO and UX teams to drive improvements in site navigation and customer journey.
The Person
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and strong leader with a proven track record in eCommerce. You should be comfortable managing large teams, driving commercial results, and influencing senior stakeholders. Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Key Skills & Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in a similar eCommerce role in retail or consumer brands.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple team members across various brands.
Advanced skills in Google Analytics and Excel, with an analytical mindset for performance reporting and forecasting.
Expertise in eCommerce platforms and digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Affiliates, CRM).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster collaboration.
