The Role: eCommerce Manager – Amsterdam

As the eCommerce Manager based in Amsterdam, you will own and optimize the entire consumer journey on the website, ensuring it effectively represents the brand. You’ll manage website content, ensure top-notch user experience (UX), and work cross-functionally with teams to develop new features and resolve technical issues. Your responsibilities will also include driving SEO performance, analyzing site metrics, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure website strategies align with the company’s broader goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Ownership: Manage the end-to-end consumer journey, ensuring alignment with brand vision and seamless UX/UI design.
  • Content Management: Publish and maintain accurate, optimized content across the website.
  • Product & Dealer Information: Regularly update product listings and dealer details to ensure consistency.
  • Merchandising & UX: Optimize navigation and functionality based on user feedback and performance metrics.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve website issues promptly with developers and IT teams.
  • Feature Development: Collaborate with Product Owners on new feature implementation and user testing.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Analyze performance data to create roadmaps for website enhancements.
  • Security Management: Work with external suppliers to ensure robust site security and perform regular updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, IT, and other teams to align website strategies with company objectives.
  • SEO Webmaster: Ensure the website follows SEO best practices, working with SEO specialists and developers.

The Person

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong technical and communication skills, and have a deep understanding of the latest digital marketing trends. You should be capable of balancing both creative and technical responsibilities to drive results and maintain a smooth online experience for customers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in website management, with proficiency in CMS platforms and web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SEO, UX/UI design, and web analytics tools such as GA4, Hotjar, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: A quick learner who stays updated on the latest web technologies and digital marketing trends.
