DEPARTMENT / TEAM / POSITION

This main mission must be carried out in a spirit of social and environmental performance, with respect for people and all diversities.

 

  1. Responsible for supporting the Digital, CRM and E- Commerce Director and wider Team with a variety of PA and administrative duties, as well as coordinating internal events.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS

 

Main internal relations of this position:

UK Digital team, Global Digital team, Global Digital Operations team, EMEA Ecommerce team, UK Marketing team, Supply and Demand teams in Harlow, Customer Service team, Digital Designers

 

Main external relations of this position:

  • SEO agency, CRO / UX agency, Media agency, media partners & technical solution providers

ROLE AND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The missions and objectives defined annually must be carried out in line with our values and our double promise of “making life more beautiful, passing on a more beautiful planet”.

 

 

  1. Manage the Clarins website and its P&L
  • Develop and execute a successful ecommerce strategy to drive online sales growth
  • Manage the e-commerce budget including forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Improving sales & conversion through launching additional online sales & conversion drivers
  • Proactively trading the website by merchandising product to drives sales and by proposing and implementing new and reactive activity when required to drive KPIs.
  • Overseeing the development optimization of the website to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Collaborate with marketing and external agencies to enhance digital marketing efforts and website functionality
  • Monitor the sites performance intensely and amend plans accordingly
  • Work with supply chain team to forecast and manage ecommerce inventory, as to ensure sales are maximised and content delivered effectively.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of digital and e-commerce activities, in alignment with the CRM and digital media strategy, to ensure a true 360 experience for our consumers
  • Select and rollout new onsite functionalities to offer engaging experiences and drive business further. Monitor websitesgenerosity levels to ensure sustained profitability (loyalty, discounts, GWP)
  • Oversee the content plan taking into account the role of SEO, content optimisation, audience profiling, social media channel insights, Google Analytics, Google

 

 

  1. Manage the Online Acquisition
  • Implement short, medium and long term SEO strategy to drive traffic to our DTC website
  • Optimise acquisition channels (PPC, SEO, affiliates) to drive and increase sales and customer acquisition
  • Analysis of spend to ensure the dept is as efficient and effective as possible with customer acquisition costs.
  • Utilise advanced analytics to drive decisions, and spearhead growth hacking initiatives to rapidly scale our online presence and sales.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Background including total years of experience:

  • A proven track record of successful E-commerce in a similar environment.
  • 7-10 years of extensive working knowledge of ecommerce
  • Very strong analytical and numerical understanding, and ability to translate data into actionable plans
  • A trading mindset and a willingness to be across all areas of the business including, merchandising, operations and supply-chain is a must
  • A firm grasp on supporting technologies & ecommerce fundamentals
  • Experience managing P&L
  • Customer Experience optimization
  • Hands on professional with a strategic mindset, capable of delivering an ambitious, yet achievable trading plan
  • Exceptional influencing and leadership skills Self-starting and proactive with the ability to work to tight deadlines and apply cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong understanding across the digital marketing mix: website development and management including CMS, organic and paid social, SEO, PPC. And demonstrated experience of driving impact and growth at scale.
  • Experienced content and data strategist with strong understanding of the role of SEO, content optimisation, audience profiling, social media channel insights, Google Analytics, Google
