About the Role:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overarching eCommerce strategy, ensuring alignment with the brand’s commercial objectives across multiple product categories.
- Trading Focus: Drive the daily trading performance of the website, maximizing revenue through effective online merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Category Management: Oversee and optimize the performance of diverse product categories, leveraging data insights to drive category growth and customer engagement.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- P&L Responsibility: Manage the eCommerce P&L ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded through strategic planning and execution.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the online customer journey through personalization, A/B testing, and the introduction of new digital features that drive conversion and retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Buying, IT, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless execution of the eCommerce strategy.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of eCommerce trends and innovations, continuously identifying opportunities to improve the digital shopping experience and drive growth.
The Person:
- Proven experience in a senior eCommerce role, with a strong emphasis on trading, within a multi-category retail environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving online revenue and profitability across Beauty, Fashion, and Home categories.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing large-scale eCommerce P&L.
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
